A car-free neighbourhood of townhouses, each with a private front and backyard, arranged around shared gardens and open spaces.
Saarang West is the newest residential neighbourhood within GoodEarth Saarang, set in the foothills of the Western Ghats in North Kerala.
Designed at a more intimate scale, it brings together compact homes, private outdoor spaces and shared gardens within a pedestrian neighbourhood. While each home has its own space and privacy, it remains connected to the larger life of Saarang, its farm, shared spaces, landscape and the community around it.
Where the spaces between the homes become part of everyday life.
At Saarang West, cars are kept away from the spaces between homes, leaving them open for people to walk, children to play and neighbours to meet. The homes open onto shared gardens and pedestrian pathways, allowing everyday life to unfold more naturally around them.
Each home is approached through a private front verandah and garden overlooking the shared greens. It creates a gentle transition between the privacy of home and the life of the neighbourhood.
At the rear, every home has its own private backyard, giving you another outdoor space to use in your own way.
Saarang West brings together 1 and 2 BHK townhouses across six home typologies. Each has been designed around efficient use of space, natural light and ventilation, and a close relationship between indoors and outdoors.
Saarang is located in Kannur district in North Kerala, with convenient access to Kannur International Airport, railway stations and the surrounding towns.
Saarang West is designed for people at different stages of life. You could be living on your own, starting a young family, working remotely, or looking at life after retirement.
